When you need to transport the printer, follow the steps below to pack it. The printer should be packed in the same status as when it was purchased to prevent it from being subjected to vibrations or shocks.
Turn off the printer by pressing the button and then unplug the power cord.
Remove all of the paper from the printer.
Disconnect all cables such as USB cables and remove installed options such as paper cassette units.

Pack the printer in its box, using the protective materials.
To avoid condensation after transporting the printer from a cool to a warm environment, allow the printer to warm up to room temperature before use.
