Clearing Internal Memory Data

You can delete the printer's internal memory data, such as downloaded fonts and macro print jobs.

Note:

You can also perform this function from the printer’s control panel.

Settings > General Settings > System Administration > Clear Internal Memory Data > PDL Font, Macro, and Working Area

  1. On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.

    You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.

    • Network connected to the printer's built-in LAN port
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings ( > Standard) > Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
    • Network connected to the Wireless LAN Interface-P1
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings >Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
  2. Enter the administrator password to log in as an administrator.

  3. Select the following menu.

    Device Management tab > Clear Internal Memory Data

  4. Click Delete for PDL Font, Macro, and Working Area.
