Changing a Sub-Administrator Password

If you log in to Web Config as a sub administrator, you can change the sub administrator's password.

  1. On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.

    You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.

    • Network connected to the printer's built-in LAN port
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings ( > Standard) > Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
    • Network connected to the Wireless LAN Interface-P1
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings >Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status

  2. Enter the sub-administrator's user name and password to log in as the administrator.

  3. Select the following menu.

    Product Security tab > User Settings

  4. Enter your current password in Current password, and then your new password in New Password and Confirm New Password.

  5. Select OK.
