Check the following if paper jams occur frequently.
Place the printer on a flat surface and use it in the recommended environment.
Use paper supported by this printer.
Follow paper handling precautions.
Load paper in the correct direction, and slide the edge guides against the edges of the paper.
Do not load more than the maximum number of sheets specified for the paper.
Load one sheet of paper at a time if you have loaded several sheets of paper.
Make sure the paper size and paper type settings match the actual paper size and paper type loaded in the printer.
Check the paper condition. If paper absorbs moisture, it may become wavy or curled, which can cause this problem.
If paper jams occur frequently, try using newly opened papers.
When you punch holes using the hole punch unit installed in the finisher, adjust the data so that it is not printed at the punch position, or set the binding margin so that the data is not printed at the punch position. If you punch on the printed area, it may cause a punch failure or paper jam.
