Setting the Printout Destination when Receiving Faxes

You need to select an output tray for printing received faxes.

• When not using an optional finisher:

  You can use the printer's built-in face down tray or face up tray. Select the following menu, and then select one of the tray options.

  Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Output: Fax

  • Face Up Tray

  • Face Down Tray

• When using the optional Staple Finisher-P2:

  You can use the finisher tray or the printer's built-in face up tray. Select the following menu, and then select one of the tray options.

  Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Output: Fax

  • Face Up Tray

  • Finisher Tray

  You cannot use the stapling feature for incoming fax printouts.

• When using the optional Booklet Finisher or other optional Staple Finisher:

  You can use the finisher tray, finisher upper tray, or the printer's built-in face up tray. Select the following menu, and then select one of the tray options.

  Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Output: Fax

  • Finisher Tray

  • Finisher Upper Tray

  • Face Down Tray

  You cannot use the stapling feature for incoming fax printouts.
