Create a user account for access control.
On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.
You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.
Enter the administrator password to log in as an administrator.
Select the following menu.
Product Security tab > Access Control Settings > User Settings
Click Add for the number you want to register.
When using the printer with the authentication system of Epson or other companies, register the user name of the restriction setting in number 2 to number 10.
Application software such as the authentication system uses number one, so that the user name is not displayed on the printer's control panel.
Configure each item.
When the password policy is available, enter a password that meets the requirement.
You can set the password policy by selecting the Product Security tab > Password Policy.
Click Apply.
Return to the user setting list after a specific length of time.
Check that the user name you registered on User Name is displayed and Add has changed to Edit.
