Selecting Universal Print Settings

These settings are used when you print from external devices without using the printer driver.

Some items are not displayed depending on the printing language of your printer.

  1. On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.

    You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.

    • Network connected to the printer's built-in LAN port
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings ( > Standard) > Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
    • Network connected to the Wireless LAN Interface-P1
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings >Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status

  2. Enter the administrator password to log in as an administrator.

  3. Select these menu items in the following order.

    Print tab > Universal Print Settings

  4. Select settings as necessary.

  5. Review the settings, and then click OK.
