Exporting Contacts Using Web Config

Contacts data may be lost due to a printer malfunction. We recommend that you make a backup of the data whenever you update it. Epson is not responsible for the loss of any data, or for backing up or recovering data and/or settings, even during a warranty period.

  1. On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.

You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.

    • Network connected to the printer's built-in LAN port
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings ( > Standard) > Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
    • Network connected to an optional Ethernet board
Settings > General Settings > Network Settings > Additional > Network Status > Wired LAN Status
    • Network connected to the Wireless LAN Interface-P1
Settings > General Settings > Network Settings >Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
  2. Enter the administrator password to log in as an administrator.

  3. Select the following menu.

Device Management tab > Export and Import Setting Value > Export

  4. Select one of the Contacts checkboxes.

If you select Contacts under the Scan/Copy category, the same checkbox under the Fax category is also selected.

  5. Enter a password to encrypt the exported file.

If you enter a password, you will need it to import the file. Leave this blank if you do not want to encrypt the file.

  6. Click Export.
