After importing a self-signed certificate, your browser stops displaying a warning when launching Web Config. Contact your administrator for details and security precautions for self-signed certificates.
The method for importing the self-signed certificate depends on your environment.
Enter the printer's IP address into your browser to access Web Config.
Select Log in, enter the administrator password, and then click OK.
Select the Network Security tab > SSL/TLS> Certificate.
Click Download to retrieve the Self-signed Certificate.
A self-signed certificate is downloaded.
Right-click the downloaded certificate and select Install Certificate.
Select Local Machine on the Welcome to the Certificate Import Wizard screen.
Click Next, and then click Yes on the screen displayed.
On the Certificate Store screen, select Place all certificates in the following store.
Click Browse, select Trusted Root Certification Authorities, and then click OK.
Click Next on the Certificate Store screen.
On the Completing the Certificate Import Wizard screen, check the settings and click Finish.
Click OK on the next screen to complete the process.
Restart your browser to register the imported self-signed certificate.
