Setting Up the Control Panel

1. On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.

   You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.

   • Network connected to the printer's built-in LAN port
     Settings > General Settings > Network Settings ( > Standard) > Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status
   • Network connected to the Wireless LAN Interface-P1
     Settings > General Settings > Network Settings >Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status

2. Enter the administrator password to log in as an administrator.

3. Select the following menu.

   Device Management tab > Control Panel

4. Set up the following items as necessary.

   • Language
     Select the displayed language on the control panel.
   • Panel Lock
     If you select ON, you cannot select items that require the administrator's authority. To select them, log in to the printer as the administrator.
   • Operation Timeout
     If you select ON, you go to the initial screen if there is no activity for a certain period of time.
     You can set between 10 seconds and 240 minutes in one second increments.
   • Theme Color
     Select the theme color of the LCD screen from the list.
   • Display during printing
     Select an item to be displayed on the LCD screen during printing.
   • Custom(Message)
     When Custom(Message) is selected in Display during printing, specify the text you want to display. You can enter up to 400 characters.
   • Custom(Image)(Maximum 856x502px, 200KByte, PNG)
     When Custom(Image) is selected in Display during printing, register and delete the images you want to display.
   Note:

   You can also set up from the printer’s control panel.

   • Language : Settings > General Settings > Basic Settings > Language

   • Operation Timeout : Settings > General Settings > Basic Settings > Operation Time Out (You can specify On or Off.)

   • Theme Color : Settings > General Settings > Basic Settings > Theme Color

5. Click OK.
