You can interrupt the current print job and perform copying operations.
However, you cannot interrupt a new job from the computer.
Tap 
on the printer's control panel while printing.
Printing is interrupted and the printer enters interruption mode.
Place the originals.
Select Copy on the home screen.
Change the settings in Basic Settings and Advanced if necessary.

To restart a paused job, tap again to exit interruption mode. Also, when no operations are performed for a specific length of time after interrupting the print job, the printer exits interruption mode.
