Saving Documents from a Computer to Storage (Windows)

You can select a storage location from the printer driver and save your document to storage. You can also print the document when you save it to storage.

  1. On the printer driver, open the Finishing tab or More Options tab.

  2. Select Save to Storage from Job Type.

    Note:

    To print the document when you save it to storage, select Save to Storage and Print from Job Type.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. If the folder name you want to save to is not displayed in Folder Name on the Storage Settings screen, click Folder Settings, add the folder name to Folder List (Computer), and then click OK.

    Note:

    If the folder name you want to save to is not displayed in Folder List (Printer), click Update Folder List and wait until the update is complete.

  5. On the Storage Settings screen, select the folder name you want to save to from Folder Name.

    Note:

    If you do not know the Password, contact your administrator.

  6. Set the other items as necessary, and then click OK.

  7. To change the resolution of the document when saving to a storage, click the Main tab > Quality > More Settings set the print quality on the Quality Settings screen, and then click OK.

  8. Set the other items on the Main, Finishing or More Options tabs as necessary, and then click OK.

  9. Click Print.
