Solutions
You may be able to solve the problem using one of, or a combination of, the following solutions. These are the same when the optional finisher is installed.
Select the following according to the output tray for paper from the menus on the control panel. Depending on your environment, printing speed may decrease.
When ejecting paper to the face down tray or the inner tray, disable Print Speed Priority.
Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Print Speed Priority > Off
When ejecting paper to the finisher, enable Optimize Finishing.
When stapling: Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Optimize Finishing > Align when Staple > On
When not stapling: Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Optimize Finishing > Align when Non-staple > On
When saddle stitching or folding: Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Optimize Finishing > Align when Fold and Saddle Stitch > On
Lower the print density.
Change the paper type.
Change the orientation of the paper (portrait/landscape). Note that the printing time may change.
Change the front and back of the paper.
