Making Wi-Fi Settings by PIN Code Setup (WPS)

You can automatically connect to a wireless router by using a PIN code. You can use this method to set up if a wireless router is capable of WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup). Use a computer to enter a PIN code into the wireless router.

  1. Tap on the home screen.

    Note:

    If is displayed on the printer screen, tap this icon and log in as an administrator.

  2. Tap Router.

    If you have made Ethernet settings, check the message and then tap Change to Wi-Fi connection.. Go to step 4.

  3. Tap Start Setup.

  4. Tap Wi-Fi Setup.

    If you have made Ethernet settings, check the message and then tap Yes.

  5. Tap Others > PIN Code Setup(WPS)

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
