Solutions
You may be able to solve the problem using one of, or a combination of, the following solutions. These are the same when the optional finisher is installed.
Enable Printout Alignment Improvement according to the output tray for paper from the menus on the control panel or the printer driver.
Depending on your environment, printing speed may decrease.
When ejecting paper to the face down tray or the inner tray
Control panel
Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Printout Alignment Improvement > Printer > On
Printer driver (Windows)
Select Maintenance tab > Extended Settings > Printout Alignment Improvement(Printer) >On
Printer driver (Mac OS)
1. Select System Preferences (or System Settings) from the Apple menu > Printers & Scanners (or Print & Scan, Print & Fax), and then select the printer.
2. Select Options & Supplies > Options > -Printout Alignment Improvement (Printer) > On, and then click OK.
When ejecting paper to the finisher
Control panel
Select Finisher or Finisher(Non-Staple) or Finisher(Saddle Stich/Fold) , and then On depending on how you print at Settings > General Settings > Printer Settings > Printout Alignment Improvement.
Printer driver (Windows)
Select Maintenance tab > Extended Settings > -Printout Alignment Improvement (Finisher) >On
Printer driver (Mac OS)
1. Select System Preferences (or System Settings) from the Apple menu > Printers & Scanners (or Print & Scan, Print & Fax), and then select the printer.
2. Select Options & Supplies > Options > -Printout Alignment Improvement (Finisher) > On, and then click OK.
Lower the print density.
Change the paper type.
Change the orientation of the paper (portrait/landscape). Note that the printing time may change.
Change the front and back of the paper.
