Transporting the Printer
If you need to transport your printer for some distance, carefully repack it using the original box and packing materials.
Follow these steps to repack the printer in its original packing materials.
Caution:|
Leave the ink cartridges installed. Removing the cartridges can dry out the print head and may prevent the product from printing.

Press the Load/Eject button and remove any paper loaded in the printer.

Turn off the printer.
|

Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, and then disconnect the interface cable from the printer.
|
 |
Repack the printer and power cord in their original packing materials and place them in the printer’s original box.
