About “Jobs”

Registering the following sequence of operations is called a "job".

1. Scan-2. Save-3. Index-4. Send-5. Confirm/Test

By registering a series of frequently used operations as a job, you can execute these operations by simply selecting the job.

By assigning a job to the control panel of a scanner or multifunction device, you can also execute the job from the control panel (Button Assignment).

1. Scan

Scanning multiple sheets at the same time.

2. Save

As well as saving scanned images as they are, you can automatically sort scanned data and save files using barcode information and so on.

File names and folder names are also assigned automatically.

3. Index

Information contained in scanned originals can be extracted using OCR/barcode recognition and output as an index.

4. Send

As well as automatically forwarding stored data to a specified folder, you can specify a variety of destinations, such as email and the cloud.

By sending to a printer, you can use it as a copy machine.

5. Confirm/Test

You can check job settings, set buttons, make display settings, and perform tests.
