Network Scanning Settings Screen
This screen allows you to make settings to display the computer on which Document Capture Pro is installed on the control panel of the scanner connected to the network.
You can scan Document Capture Pro jobs on the specified computer from the control panel. You need the following network environment to display computers.

The scanner and computer need to be connected to the same IP segment.

There needs to be multi-cast communication between the scanner and the computer.

Enable Network Scanning |
Selected immediately after installing. Clear this if you do not want to display the computer on the scanner's control panel. |

Your PC Name (alphanumeric) |
The initial value displayed on the control panel is the Windows computer name (this is sometimes known as the device name or host name). You can change this name so that it is easy for you to recognize. The maximum number of characters is 15. |

Use scanner in Group |
All computers on which Document Capture Pro is installed and that are on the same segment are displayed on the control panel by default. If too many computers are displayed on the control panel, you can reduce them by using the group number function. If you enter the same number as the number set on the control panel, only computers with the matching number are displayed. The group number function may not be available depending on the model you are using. |

Protect with password |
If you select this and set a password, you will need to enter the password on the control panel. You can use this to restrict the use of Document Capture Pro from the control panel. |
