Generate PDF/A File

Creates PDFs that conform to PDF/A-1 standards (data for long-term archiving of electronic documents).

This cannot be set on the Compression Level and Security tabs at the same time.

Searchable PDF

Select this check box to create a searchable PDF file.

Set the Resolution (output resolution) between 200 dpi and 400 dpi.

This function may increase scanning processing time.

Select the language used for recognizing text in searchable PDFs in Text Language.

Create file with all pages

Save all pages as one file.

Paper Size

Select the paper size for the PDF to be created.

Orientation

Select the orientation for the PDF to be created.

Margin

Specify the margins for the PDF to be created.

Compression Level

Select the compression level for color or gray images.
