Detailed Settings for TIFF/Multi-TIFF

This screen allows you to make detailed settings when saving as a TIFF or Multi-TIFF file.

Item	Explanation
Byte Order	Select the operating system that will use the scanned image.
Compression	Select the compression format. The available compression methods differ depending on the image type setting. JPEG (7): This is available when the Image Type is Color or Gray. LZW: This is available when the Image Type is Color or Gray. CCITT Group4: Compresses data in 1/20 ratio (depending on the contents).
Embed ICC Profile	This function is only available for TIFF files. Allows you to add an ICC profile (information on the color reproducibility of the scanned image) to the image. You can display colors in the scanned image correctly by opening the image with the profile added to the file using software that supports color management.
