Removing Destination Connectors

Follow the steps below to remove any destination connectors you have added.

Note:

  • You cannot remove destinations that are preinstalled by Document Capture Pro.

  • Log on to the computer using an account (user) with administrative privileges. If you are prompted for the administrator's password, enter the password to continue.

  1. 1Close all running software including Document Capture Pro.

  2. 2Disconnect the scanner from the computer.

  3. 3Open the Control Panel.

    • Windows 11
      Click the start button, and then select All apps - Windows Tools - Control Panel.
    • Windows 10
      Right-click or press and hold the start button, and then select Control Panel.
    • Windows 8.1/Windows 8
      Select Desktop - Settings - Control Panel.
    • Windows 7
      Click the start button, and then select Control Panel.

  4. 4Click Programs, and then select Uninstall a program.

  5. 5Select the destination connector you want to remove.

  6. 6Click Uninstall/Change or Uninstall.

    Note:

    Click Yes if the User Account Control screen is displayed.

  7. 7Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Note:

    A message may be displayed prompting you to restart your computer. If it is displayed, select Yes, restart the computer now, And then click Finish.
