Outputting an Index File
When the index feature is enabled, you can output scanning information or items necessary for the scanned content as index data. You can check the information for each page of the original in the index data.
You can also set barcodes, OCR, and the MRZ in passports and travel documents (TD1) as user-defined and output them as index data.
MRZ stands for Machine Readable Zone. This software allows you to read the MRZ in passports or travel documents (TD1-compliant ID cards) and output the information contained in them, such as the name, nationality, and passport number, as text data in accordance with the international standard (Doc 9303) established by ICAO (the International Civil Aviation Organization).
