Saving to a Network Folder

You can save the scanned image to a specified folder on a network.

You need to configure settings in advance. See the following link for details on the work flow for configureing settings.

Note:

Before scanning, make sure the scanner’s Date/Time and Time Difference settings are correct. If you need to make changes, select Settings > Basic Settings > Date/Time Settings on the control panel.

  1. Place the original.

  2. Select Network Folder/FTP on the home screen on the scanner's control panel.

  3. Specify the folder.

    • To select a frequently used address, select one of the icons displayed on the screen.
    • To enter the destination manually, select Keyboard. See the link below for details on destination settings.
    • To select an address from the contacts list, select Contacts, choose a contact, and then select Close.
      You can also search for a folder from the contacts list by entering a search keyword into the box at the top of the screen.
  4. Select Scan Settings, and then review and change any settings, such as the save format, if necessary.

    Note:

    Select to save your settings as a preset.

  5. Select , check the Scanner Settings, and then change them if necessary.

  6. Tap .

Scanned images are saved in the destination network folder.
