Connecting to Ethernet

Connect the printer to the network by using an Ethernet cable, and check the connection.

If you want to configure settings on a printer with Lock Setting enabled, you must log in as an administrator.

You will be prompted to enter the administrator password when entering a locked menu.

  1. Connect the printer and hub (LAN switch) with an Ethernet cable.

  2. Select Settings on the home screen.

  3. Select General Settings > Network Settings > Connection Check.

    The connection diagnosis result is displayed. Confirm the connection is correct.
