When you need to transport the scanner, follow the steps below to pack the scanner.
Press the 
button to turn off the scanner.
Unplug the AC adapter.
Remove the cables and the devices.
Store the input tray extension, and close the input tray.
When the output support is extended, retract it completely.
Set the scanner in the vertical path position.
Attach the protective materials that came with the scanner, and then repack it in its original box or a similar sturdy box.
