ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) cover

Open when removing jammed originals in the ADF.

ADF input tray

Feeds originals automatically.

ADF edge guide

Feeds originals straight into the printer. Slide to the edge of the originals.

ADF output tray

Holds originals ejected from the ADF.

Rear paper feeder

Loads paper.

Paper support

Supports loaded paper.

Edge guide

Feeds the paper straight into the printer. Slide to the edges of the paper.

Output tray

Holds the ejected paper.

Stopper

Position the stopper to prevent print outs from falling from the output tray.

Feeder guard

Prevents foreign substance from entering the printer.

Usually keep this guard closed.

Output tray

Holds the ejected paper.

Stopper

Position the stopper to prevent print outs from falling from the output tray.

Document cover

Blocks external light while scanning.

Scanner glass

Place the originals.

Control panel

Indicates the printer's status and allows you to make print settings.

Scanner unit

Scans placed originals. Open to remove jammed paper. This unit should usually be kept closed.

Ink tank cap

Open to refill the ink tank.

Ink tank cover

Ink tank unit

Contains the ink tanks.

Ink reservoir tank (Ink tank)

Supplies ink to the print head.

Inner cover

Open when removing jammed paper inside the printer.

Scanner unit support

Supports the scanner unit when opening it.

Print head

Ink is ejected from the print head nozzles underneath.

LAN port^*

Connects a LAN cable.

USB port

Connects a USB cable to connect with a computer.

AC inlet

Connects the power cord.

EXT. port^*

Connects external phone devices.

LINE port^*

Connects a phone line.
