Disabling your Wi-Fi Connection

If you no longer need to use a Wi-Fi (wireless LAN) connection with your printer, you can disable it.

By removing unnecessary Wi-Fi signals, you can also reduce the load on your standby power.

Note:

For ET-2900U only

The printer must be connected to the Internet in order to function and have its ink usage monitored as part of the ReadyPrint program.

  1. Select Wi-Fi Setup on the home screen on the printer's control panel.

To select an item, use the buttons, and then press the OK button.

  2. Select Wi-Fi.

  3. Press the OK button.

  4. Select Others > Disable Wi-Fi.

    Follow the on-screen instructions.
