You can use any of the following methods to scan using this printer.
There are two methods of scanning originals to a computer; scanning using the printer’s control panel, and scanning from the computer.
You can scan easily from the control panel. Before scanning, install Epson Event Manager and Epson Scan 2 on your computer.
Use the scanning application Epson ScanSmart to scan from the computer. You can edit images after scanning. Before scanning, install Epson ScanSmart on your computer.
You can save the scanned image to a computer connected to the printer, using WSD feature.
If you are using the Windows 7/Windows Vista, you need to make WSD settings on your computer before scanning.
You can save scanned images directly to a smart device such as a smartphone or tablet by using the Epson iPrint application on the smart device.
Before scanning, install Epson iPrint on your smart device.
