Select Setting:

Save/Del:

You can add or remove your own presets for frequently used print settings. Select the preset you want to use from the list.

Media Type:

Select the type of paper on which you print.

Print Mode:

Select whether to print in color or in monochrome.

Level:

Select the pint quality you want to use for printing. Available settings depend on the paper type you select. When selecting higher quality, the printing speed may be slower. If you select Quality Options, you can make detailed settings.

Black Enhance Overcoat:

Select to print with enhanced image contrast and tones of black. This option can only be selected for supported paper.

Mode:

Make the color tone settings for the prints. Available options depend on the Print Mode setting.

Clicking Advanced opens the Color Controls screen where you can select a detailed method of color correction.

Source:

Select the paper source from which the paper is fed.

Document Size:

Select the size of the print file set in the application. If a predefined paper size is not available, click User Defined to set your own paper size.

Borderless:

Enlarges the print data slightly more than the paper size so that no margins are printed around the edges of the paper. Click Expansion to select the amount of enlargement.

Print Preview:

Displays a preview of your document before printing.

Layout Manager:

When you check this box and start printing, the print jobs are arranged and displayed on the Layout Manager dialog box. You can arrange data created by different applications in order of preference and combine them into a single print job.

Note:

You cannot make settings other than Document Size when Layout Manager is checked. Make the detailed print settings on the Layout Manager dialog box.

Ink Levels:

Displays the approximate ink level.

Restore Default:

Return all settings to their factory default values. The settings on the Layout tab are also reset to their defaults.

Show Settings:

Displays a list of items currently set on the Main and Layout tabs. You can show or hide the current setting list screen.
