Selecting the Default Values for Scanning and Copying (User Default Settings)

You can set the default value for the following functions.

  • Scan to Network Folder/FTP

  • Scan to Email

  • Scan to Memory Device

  • Scan to Cloud

  • Copy

  1. On a computer connected to the same network as the printer, open a browser and enter the printer's IP address.

    You can check the printer's IP address using the following menu.

    • Wired LAN or Wireless LAN
      Settings > General Settings > Network Settings > Network Status > Wired LAN/Wi-Fi Status

  2. Enter the administrator password to log in as an administrator.

  3. Select the following menu.

    Scan/Copy tab > User Default Settings

  4. Select settings as necessary.

  5. Click OK.

    If an invalid combination of values is selected, it is automatically adjusted to a valid setting.
