  • Align when Fold and Saddle Stitch

Reduce paper misalignment to fold or saddle stich each set of copies in the correct position. However, this may lower print speed.

This option is displayed only when the booklet finisher is installed.

Finisher Tray Setting:

These menus are displayed only when the staple finisher or the booklet finisher is installed.

  • Avoid Contact of Stacked Paper with the Moving Part

Lower the finisher tray to eject documents so that it does not come into contact with the ejected documents. However, this may lower print speed.

  • Change Maximum Stack Detection Point

Change the number of full sheets detected in the finisher tray from 4000 to 1500.

Finisher Tray Setting:

These menus are displayed only when the staple finisher-P2 is installed. When panel lock is enabled, only the administrator can make these settings.

  • Quiet Mode

If ejection operation sounds are too loud during paper ejection, set this mode to On. However, this may lower print speed.

Also, when printing density is high, shift sort is being performed, or stapling is being performed, the printer automatically aligns the paper and may not be able to reduce the noise level during paper ejection.

When this setting is enabled, the accuracy of the alignment of the ejected paper will be reduced.
