If you cannot browse network folders using the Browse function on the printer's control panel, one of the following situations may be the cause.

When using Mac OS, enter the computer’s device name or IP address in Location, along with the User Name and Password, then tap Browse. The network folders within the specified computer will be searched and displayed, then select the desired folder to specify it.
If browsing is not possible when entering the computer’s device name in Location, try entering the computer’s IP address instead.
If Location is left blank and Browse is tapped, the computer or network folders will not be displayed.

Make sure the sharing settings for the created folder are properly configured.

Click the Windows Start button, and then click
Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Advanced Sharing Settings. Check that File and Printer Sharing is turned on for the profile labeled Current Profile.
Mac OS:
From the Apple menu, click System Settings > General > Sharing. Make sure File Sharing under Content & Media is turned on.

Right-click the Windows Start button, go to Computer Management > Services and Applications > Services, and then check that Function Discovery Resource Publication is in the Running state.

Click the Windows Start button, and then click
Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Advanced Sharing Settings. Check that both Network Discovery and File and Printer Sharing are turned on for the network labeled Current Profile.
Depending on your network environment, it may not be possible to browse network folders.
