Checking an Send Server (SMTP) Connection

  1. Select the connection test menu.

    • When setting up from Web Config:
      Select the Network tab > Email Server > Connection Test (Send) > Start.
    • When setting from the control panel:
      Select Settings > General Settings > Network Settings > (Standard) > Advanced > Email Server > Send Settings > Connection Check.

    The connection test to the send server (SMTP) is started.

  2. Check the test results.

    • The test is successful when the message Connection test was successful. is displayed.
    • If an error is displayed, follow the instructions in the message to clear the error.
