Internet Fax Settings:

You can display this by selecting Settings > General Settings > Fax Settings > Internet Fax Settings > Internet Fax from the printer's control panel.

Select Enable to enable Internet Fax.

You can display this by selecting Settings > General Settings > Fax Settings > Internet Fax Settings > Receive Settings from the printer's control panel. You can set this when Internet Fax is enabled.

When On is selected, a delivery result notification email is sent to the sender in response to a request from the sending side.

Specify whether to automatically check the email server for internet fax reception at regular intervals. When On is selected, you can set the query interval between 1 and 240 minutes.

Select whether to keep received internet fax emails on the receiving server.

Select whether to add header information when printing the body of received internet fax emails. When Partial is selected, the email header (XXX, XXX, XXX) and email body are printed.

You can display this by selecting Settings > General Settings > Fax Settings > Internet Fax Settings > Send Settings from the printer's control panel. You can set this when Internet Fax is enabled.

Set the subject for outgoing internet fax emails.

You can register up to 10 additional subjects. Selecting a number with the status Not Set allows you to register a new subject.

Configure the file header for internet fax send emails. If Add Date and Add Time are both set to Off, a file header must be entered.

Add the date to the file name.

Add the time to the file name.

Requests delivery confirmation when sending internet faxes.

When set to On, a request is sent to notify whether the internet fax was successfully received by the recipient.

When set to On, a request is sent through the server to notify if the sent internet fax could not be delivered.

When Print on Error is selected, the received response message is printed if it contains error information.

When the relay function is set to On, you can make the following settings.

When the relay function is set to On, internet faxes are automatically relayed to another fax destination.

Set a keyword known only to authorized users as a relay code to restrict who can use this product as a relay device. You can set up to five relay codes. Set relay codes in combination with the line to be used for relaying.

Selecting Not Set allows you to add a new relay code. Enter a code within 10 characters in combination with the line.

Set the line you want to use.

• Off

  Receives all relay instruction emails without restricting domains.

• Allow List

  Receives only emails from domains registered in the allowed domain name list. Relay instruction emails received through domains not included in the list are blocked.

• Block List

  Blocks relay instruction emails from domains registered in the block domain name list.

Edit the domain name list for allowing or blocking internet fax relay.

Restricts internet fax relay destinations. When set to Caller not in Contacts, specifying a relay destination not registered in the contacts list causes an error when receiving the relay instruction email.

When this product receives an internet fax relay instruction email, it sends a notification email confirming receipt of the relay instruction.

Set the destination to which a notification email is sent when this product accepts a relay operation.

When this product accepts a relay operation and the relay transmission is complete, the relay transmission result is sent by email to the requester.

Attaches the first page of the document image to the relay transmission result email.

Prints a relay result report when this product accepts a relay operation and the relay transmission is complete.

When Print on Error is selected, a result report is printed if an error occurs during relay transmission.
