Cannot send images scanned in Document Capture Pro by e-mail

Are you using Outlook or e-mail software that supports MAPI to send scanned jobs by e-mail?

The following Outlook versions are supported by Document Capture Pro.

Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007/2010(x86)/2013(x86)/2016(x86)

Check the help for your e-mail software to confirm if your software supports MAPI.

If you want send scanned jobs by e-mail and you are using e-mail software that does not support MAPI, set the e-mail sending method to SMTP.

If you are using e-mail software that does not support MAPI, select SMTP as the Sending Method on the E-mail Account Settings screen, and then set the necessary information.

For details on authentication information, check the settings for your e-mail server, or contact your network administrator or e-mail service provider.

If you want to send simple scanned jobs by e-mail, you need to use Outlook or e-mail software that supports MAPI.

The following Outlook versions support simple scanning for Document Capture Pro.
