Check if the computer is on and is not in sleep mode.
Install Document Capture Pro on your computer and log on as a user.
When using Document Capture Pro on a computer with Epson ScanSmart installed, select Document Capture Pro from “Select Application” in Epson ScanSmart.
Make sure the following settings are correct.
The scanner and computer are connected to the same network segment
The operation mode on the scanner is set to "Client mode"
If a group number is set on the scanner, make sure the same group number is also set on the computer (supported models only)
The port number is set correctly
Cast packets can communicate along the network path between the scanner and the computer
