Enabling the Access Control

When enabling Access Control, only the registered user will be able to use the scanner.

Note:

When Access Control Settings is enabled, you need to notify the user of their account information.

  1. Access Web Config, and then select the Product Security tab > Access Control Settings > Basic.

  2. Select Enables Access Control.

    If you enable Access Control Settings and scan from a computer that do not have authentication information, select Allow printing and scanning without authentication information from a computer.

  3. Click OK.
