Cleaning the Paper Path for Paper Feeding Problems

1. Press the button to turn off the printer.

2. Unplug the power cord.

3. Open the printer cover.

   You can find the pickup roller in the position indicated in the following illustration.

   

4. Remove the pickup roller.

   Press the tab on the right side of the pickup roller, slide it backward, and then pull it straight up.

   

5. Dampen a soft cloth with water, wring it out thoroughly, and then wipe the rubber part of the roller in one direction.

   
   Important:

   Do not touch the rubber part on the pickup roller.

6. Press the tab on the right side, and then align the protruding parts with the holes to attach it.

   

7. Close the printer cover.

8. Connect the power cord.

9. Press the button to turn on the printer.
