No Paper Feeds

The following causes can be considered.

The installation location is inappropriate.

Solutions

Place the printer on a flat surface and operate in the recommended environmental conditions.

Unsupported paper is being used.

Solutions

Use paper supported by this printer.

Paper handling is inappropriate.

Solutions

Follow paper handling precautions.

Too many sheets are loaded in the printer.

Solutions

Do not load more than the maximum number of sheets specified for the paper.

The paper settings on the printer are incorrect.

Solutions

Make sure the paper size and paper type settings match the actual paper size and paper type loaded in the printer.

A paper with a width that cannot be detected correctly is being used.

Solutions

If you use transparent, colored, or pre-printed paper, the width of the paper may not be detected. Add the paper information, and then disable the Paper Size Check feature using Epson Media Installer.

Start Epson Media Installer, and then add the paper information you want to print. Edit the paper information, and then clear the Paper Size Check checkbox.
