Scan to Cloud Storage Feature Work Flow

This section explains how to save scanned images to a shared folder in cloud storage.

1. Connect the scanner to the network

(This is unnecessary if you connected to the network during setup)

Connect the scanner to the network using the installer.

Visit the following website and search for your model to access the installer.

When the connection method selection screen is displayed, select wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) or wired LAN (Ethernet) and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the network.

2. Synchronize a cloud directory service

Computer

Synchronize the scanner with a cloud directory service such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. When the scanner is synced, you can directly store scanned data to the cloud storage of each cloud directory service.

3. Create a folder in the cloud strorage

Computer

Create a folder to save the scanned image in the destination cloud storage, and then configure it to be shared. You can use the following cloud storage services.

  • Microsoft Teams

  • SharePoint Online

  • OneDrive for Business

  • Google Drive

4. Register the folder in Contacts

Computer (Web Config) or the scanner’s control panel

Register the created shared folder in the scanner's Contacts. This allows you to select the destination from Contacts without having to enter the destination address when scanning.
