Changing the Application to Scan From the Scanner
You can change the default application to scan from the scanner using the start button on the scanner.
This feature is only for specific model.

Click
Settings in the Epson ScanSmart window.

Click Select Application on the Scanner Settings tab.

Select the application you want to open when you press the start button on the scanner.
