Image Quality Options |
You can specify a compression level for JPEG images by moving the slider or entering a value. The file size increases when a high resolution is selected. |
|
Encoding |
Select the encoding method. |
|
Standard |
With this encoding method, images on the Internet are displayed sequentially from the top of the Web browser. It takes longer to load the entire image. |
|
Progressive |
With this encoding method, images on the Internet are displayed roughly at first, and then accurately in the Web browser. The advantage of this method is that the whole image is displayed and recognizable at once, even though it is at a low resolution. |
|
Embed ICC Profile |
Allows you to add ICC profiles (information on the color reproducibility of the scanned image) to the image. Colors in the scanned image are displayed properly when you open an image that has had a profile added to the file using software that supports color management. |
