Scanning Speed is Slow

Lower the resolution, and then scan again. Scanning may take longer time at high resolutions.

You may be able to reduce the scanning speed depending on the image adjustment features in Epson Scan 2.

Click
Settings in the Epson ScanSmart window > Scanner Settings tab > Scan Settings.
If Quiet Mode is enabled in Epson Scan 2, the scanning speed may be reduced.
Click the
button in Epson Scan 2, select the Scan tab, and clear Quiet Mode.

Scanning speed may be slow when scanning from the ADF in color. Selecting Increases the scan speed using the black & white setting, which is only displayed for certain models, may improve the scanning speed.
