The graphics data deleted by this function is the data displayed by <Function 75> and <Function 91> of this command.

Only the parts of graphics data in the image area are deleted if the graphics data is positioned such that it spans across the text area from the image area, and such operation is outside the specifications. Use the ESC@ command if you want to delete the graphics area covering the text area.
