[Description]

Transmits the status of paper sensor(s) as 1 byte of data.

[Recommended Functions]

This command is supported only by some printer models but will not be supported by future models. It is recommended to use GS r to check the status and GS r for transmitting the paper sensor status.

See GS r for details on status transmission.
When this command is transmitted, do not transmit data that follows until the corresponding status is received.
The paper sensor status to be transmitted is as follows:

If Command execution in offline is enabled and this command is executed when the cover is open, the bit 2 and 3 of the status retain the value when the cover was closed immediately before.

(However, if command execution (offline) is disabled, this command is not processed while the cover is open.)
