Locking the Front Cover

You can lock the front cover. This is useful when the administrator wants to manage ink cartridges and the maintenance box.

Note:

Prepare a padlock to lock the front cover.

  1. Remove the seal from the front cover.

  2. Open the front cover.

  3. Pull out the lever as shown in the following illustration.

  4. Close the front cover.

    You can find the tip of the lever coming out of the front cover hole.

  5. Attach the padlock to the hole at the tip of the lever.

    Keep the key in a safe place.

    Note:

    When you unlock the front cover, perform the installation procedure in reverse.
